Offering, the steel tree sculpture, was created for use in Tree Chant, an interactive performance experience featuring original musical score, dance, fire, and most importantly, audience involvement. Offering can be climbed on and hung from and has an altar space contained in the trunk of the tree. Inspired by Balinese Monkey Chant, Tree Chant was used as an opening ceremony at several festivals to raise the energy of the event and unite the intentions of the participants.
